London Wall by night - 010/365

London Wall, the road and an actual peice of the wall are both in this shot.
A view of my walk from the Barbican to London Bridge. I vary the routes but this is a pretty regular one.

I went for a little walk towards Forest hill and took this picture on the footbridge that leads to perry vale. I thought this deserved the wide angle treatment.
Had a superb surprise birthday party last night (thanks Deborah) but I was having too good a time to take any pictures.

Caught a quick snap before lunch of this artists wooden model. These things are such fun that I can’t promise that I won’t take a picture of it again.

Well, here is my first mini-project of the year: A weekly portrait.

My first victim is Matt (thanks Matt!).

Rainy day - 006/365

06 January 2011

It was a grey and rainy day and also my first back at work after the Christmas break. This is kind of how I felt about it too.

Shopping - 005/365

05 January 2011

Deborah took me for a wonderful breakfast at the Wolseley. We then did a spot of shopping (though not here at the Burlington arcade). We rounded off our excursion by a look at the Landscape Photographer of the year exhibition at the National Theatre. A really lovely day.

RAF Museum – 004/365

04 January 2011

As a birthday treat I got a whole day off from looking after children. I’d long fancied a visit to the RAF museum in Hendon and knowing that this wasn’t Deborah’s thing decided to go today.

03 January 2011

This is Deborah’s Yashica Minister rangefinder camera. It’s pretty cool and i’d love to give it a go but the manual wind on is stuck.

During the year i’d love to get it repaired (if it’s not too much).

New room - 002/365

02 January 2011

In order so that our newest child can have a nursery, we moved my eldest daughter into her new room (the old study).

Deborah painted a lovely mural on the wall. This was after an in-depth interview where Rose was asked what she wanted. Despite the look on her face in this shot, she seemed to love it.

Christmas leftovers – 001/365

01 January 2011

The leftovers from Christmas in my street. This is the recycling area and this week it is bursting with all the boxes from the presents.

Kind of seems how I feel at the moment – a bit post Christmas.
